Course and training “Service tenders: business development and project offer writing” will be held on December 4th to December 6th at Forum, organized by Assortis.

The course “Service tenders: business development and project offer writing” is addressed to companies, other public and private organisations and consultants operating or wishing to access the international public procurement market for all types of services.

Tenders published by the international institutions, such as EC, WB, UN, EBRD, are appealing business opportunities for local companies. To be successful you need to know which tenders come out, who the possible partners and your competitors are, develop the right partnerships, connect with the right stakeholders, collect the appropriate business intelligence and negotiate your share of the cake. The chances to win these tenders highly depend on the quality of your proposal that will have to face a stiff competition from local and international players. You have to be smart in choosing the good ingredients: being in line with the terms of reference, being effective when you describe the services and the team you offer, convincing when you justify your budget; and organize efficiently your time for each of these activities.

At the end of the course the participants will have acquired their capacity to develop a business development strategy to succeed in public tenders for services contracts, find and negotiate with local and international partners, prepare technical proposals, formulate competitive project budgets and build strong project teams.

The working language of the training is English. The training is practical and interactive. Each participant will get a certificate of completion.

Trainers are Alessandra Merlo, an independent consultant and trainer whose experience includes almost 20 years of design and management of EU and World Bank cooperation projects in development and transition countries, and Mihaela Grubišić Šeba who has rich experience in the consulting, research, and banking sector.
